Check what Relae reads from a source

See which of your columns Relae is using for what, and change it if your setup is different.

Relae already knows the usual shape of an Eventbrite account or a CanadaHelps export, so most people never need this screen. It is here for when your setup is not the usual one.

Where to find it

Sources, then Check what Relae reads from each one.

What you are looking at

One row per piece of information Relae keeps. On the left is what Relae calls it. On the right is where it comes from in your source. If those look right, you are done; there is nothing to do.

Relae's suggestion, or yours

At the top it says either Relae's suggestion or Your mapping. Relae's suggestion means nobody has changed anything, so Relae is using what it knows about that platform, which also means it quietly gets better over time as we learn more. Your mapping means somebody here changed something, and Relae will keep doing it your way from then on.

Changed something you should not have? Go back to Relae's suggestion puts it back exactly as it shipped. Nothing is lost.

If something says it cannot be found

A red warning means your source stopped sending a field Relae was reading. Usually somebody renamed something, or the platform changed. That information will simply be blank on every import until you point it somewhere else, which is why Relae tells you rather than letting it go quiet.
