Connect Eventbrite
Link your Eventbrite account once and your orders, tickets and attendees keep themselves current.
Connecting Eventbrite means you stop exporting spreadsheets after every show. Relae reads your orders directly and keeps up with refunds and check-ins on its own.
What you need
One private token from Eventbrite. In Eventbrite, go to your account settings, find Developer Links, then API Keys, and copy the private token shown there. It is a long string of letters and numbers.
- 1In Relae, open Sources and choose Connect a source.
- 2Paste the token and tick the box confirming you understand what data comes across.
- 3Choose Connect. Relae checks the token with Eventbrite straight away and tells you if it is wrong.
- 4Open the source and choose Sync. The first one takes longest because it goes back through your history.
What comes across
- Every order, with who bought it and what they paid.
- Every seat, including guests the buyer added and seats they bought without naming anybody.
- Whether each person was checked in at the door.
- Refunds, including partial ones.
What does not happen
Relae never writes anything back to Eventbrite. Your Eventbrite account is untouched. Nothing you do in Relae cancels an order, refunds anyone, or emails a ticket buyer.
A ticket sale is not automatically a donation. Relae only records a gift when your event setup says the money was one. See Set up how your event door works.
