Getting started with Relae

What Relae does, and the first few things to do once you are in.

Relae is the donor system for a small team. It pulls your giving in from every source, cleans it into one record you can trust, then helps you decide who to work and what to do next. It works on top of the donor CRM you already use, or as your donor record from day one if you do not have one.

The home cockpit

When you sign in you land on the cockpit: the short list of what needs you today. Gifts to reconcile, donors to thank, ratings to confirm, follow-ups that are due. Each card opens straight to the record so you can act, not just read.

The first things to do

  1. 1Bring in your giving. Connect a source or import a spreadsheet of gifts. Relae matches each gift to the right donor and builds one clean record.
  2. 2Clear the few it is not sure about. Most gifts match on their own. Open Review to handle the small number that need a human eye. Each decision is remembered, so it never asks twice.
  3. 3Open a donor. See their full giving history, their prospect rating, your plan, and what Relae suggests. This is where the day-to-day work lives.
Nothing is ever written to a record until you confirm it, and you can export everything any time. Relae is a layer on top of what you use, not a place your data gets stuck.
