When to use the Progress report
Compare campaign fundraising against goals, or choose an editable giving summary for gift-level analysis.
Use Progress for an overview of fundraising against campaign goals. It shows aggregate raised and goal figures, forecast scenarios, and breakdowns by campaign and source category. Check the fiscal-year label at the top before sharing it.
Raised includes received cash plus outstanding written pledges. It is not the same as cash received. Forecast scenarios are estimates, not guaranteed future gifts.
Progress can be useful for a stakeholder update on campaign goals and the fundraising outlook. It does not replace the editable giving summary when you need gift-detail tables, average gift size, donor retention or a year-over-year giving comparison. For those questions, use Reports and select FY to date vs last year, then review its period and sections.
- 1Open Progress at /reports/progress. Check the displayed fiscal year and campaign goals.
- 2Review raised against goal, the forecast scenarios, and the campaign breakdown. If no campaigns are set up for the displayed year, the report shows an empty state.
- 3Select Download PDF to download the aggregate Progress report. Downloading requires an officer role or higher. Individual donor records are not included in this report.
