Work a donor in the record
The donor record is a workspace: giving, prospect rating, plan, planned moves, flags, and what Relae suggests.
Open any donor to see everything in one place: their giving at a glance, their full history, and the work of the relationship. The record is editable, so this is where you actually do the work, not just read it.
The prospect rating
Each record carries an AAC rating: Access, Affinity, and Capacity. Access is how reachable they are, Affinity is how warm they are to the mission, Capacity is what they can give. Access and Affinity score 0 to 4, Capacity 0 to 9, and the composite is the sum of all three. A 0 means unrated. Relae suggests a rating from the giving it can see and the reasoning behind it; you confirm or override every axis. Nothing is written until you do.
Your plan, distinct from Relae's suggestions
The record keeps a clear line between what you decide and what Relae suggests. Your next move and your talking points are yours to write and edit. Relae's suggestions sit in their own panel, clearly labeled, and nothing it suggests is saved until you pull it into your plan.
Owners
Assign a gift officer as the owner of a record from a dropdown of your team, and add a second owner when a relationship is shared. The scorecard attributes activity by owner.
Everything else on the record
- Planned moves: the follow-ups ahead for this donor, with the next one pinned. Completing one crosses it off and can be undone, so a misclick is never lost.
- Flags: do not solicit, deceased, anonymous, and contact preferences, with a loud warning at the top when a donor should not be asked.
- Relationships: spouse, household, employer, and other connections, each linking to its own record. Link an existing record or create a new one inline.
- Households: group related constituents so mailings de-duplicate and giving rolls up, without ever changing who a gift belongs to.
- Recurring giving: if a recurring gift looks like it has lapsed, the record flags it so you can check on a failed or expired card.
